LEVEE CONTEMPORARY is proud to announce a new exhibition featuring artwork by Princeton-based photographer Michaela Foreman. The show will open Friday, March 1st with an opening reception on that Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. The reception is free and open to the public, who are encouraged to check out the photography, chat with the artist, and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.

Justin Plakas/Hand Gun
Levee Contemporary presents It'll Do Till It Gets Here... an exhibition featuring new painting and sculpture works by artist Justin Plakas. This collection of vibrant and playful works serves as a reflection on the interconnected themes of loss, love, the transformative journey of new parenthood, and the power of memory.
On view May 26th thru August 20th.

Michaela Foreman/Selfie
Wisconsin artist, Tony Conrad, has joined our talented group of represented artists. Tony received his MFA degree in painting and drawing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2009. Conrad’s work has been exhibited throughout the United States in various solo, group, and invitational exhibitions and has won a number of awards including the Lawrence Rathsack Scholarship and the Frederick R. Layton Fellowship.

Our fall exhibition, Indiana Green Invitational, opens on October 1st and will be on view through November 12th. The opening reception is October 8th from 5-9pm. The show is curated by Frank Juárez and Samantha Timm. Artists include Hector Acuna, Anwar Floyd-Pruitt, Jayne Reid Jackson, Callie Kiesow, Ann E. Lawton, Diane Levesque, and Celeste Contreras Skierski. We are very excited for this partnership with Artdose Magazine!

Art & Chalk Fest is a live arts festival hosted on the Museum of Wisconsin Art’s four-acre campus, featuring artists from the community. Kate did pottery demonstrations throughout the weekend and enjoyed her time interacting with the onlookers.

This past May, Eva Gabriella Flynn graduated with her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has recently moved to New Mexico where she can work in a studio, fully immersed in the desert landscape that fuels her ongoing series exploring the history of the borderlands.
